Never a dull moment

There is one thing about UKIP that can be said and that is "There is never a dull moment" As secretary I have only been a member for four years but that has been a whirlwind of events with two General Elections and a historic Referendum. It has also seen UKIP as a party like a shooting star achieve it's peak on Independence day before falling on harder times with a succession of party leaders all of whom have not been sufficiently superhuman to step into the shoes of Nigel Farage. Unfortunately like any large organisations especialy in politics there is a plethora of egos which make it extremely difficult for any leader to reconcile and set the party back on the path of working for the people of this nation.

Added to this we have a damacles sword hanging over the party with a high court ruling resulting in 100s of thousands of £ costs against our party which I believe at this point will have difficulty reconciling. If a financial saviour does not step up to the mark there is a possibility that UKIP as we know it may no longer exist but I am confident that regardless of the outcome something will spring from the ashes because there is a desperate need in the country for a huge swathe of the population to be represented.

So coming back to my opening remark, "never a dull moment".
