Time for Change

The election on 8th June 2017 is over and UKIP candidates all over the UK are without exception licking their wounds, and more than two thirds of the 360 or so candidates will have lost their deposits of £500 which to virtually all candidates will be a personal loss as it seems that UKIP are the only major party who do not fund their candidates. Even the Green candidates who polled less than half our vote share and came away with a solitary MP funded their candidates.

Our member from Bishop Auckland tried and failed in North West Durham securing only 2,150 votes which was 0.5% short of securingh his deposit with the only consolation being that he was in the top 60 of the 360 UKIP candidates. and not so far behind the 3k+ votes that our ex Party Leader Paul Nuttall secured.

So it is time for a shake up from top to bottom to learn from our mistakes and bring the partry back to prominence. The political scenario has not changed that much and indeed is more dynamic than in living memory with serious threats to our future from Europhiles, Terrorist Sympathisers, Antifa demonstrators and a Marxist / Communist Labour Party. People still need a honest down to earth party with common sense views and proposals regarding how to run our country and UKIP are that party.

We must recognise that changes must be made and soon and everyones views are of value in how this is to be achieved.
